Introduction
I’m Peter Carrington, GP Partner at Biddlestone Health Group in Heaton, and Primary Care Network link.
What I Do
After completing my own training to be a GP, I spent a year working at St Anthony's Health Centre, before joining Biddlestone (which was then on Cartington Terrace). We moved to our new purpose built premises in 2002 , which is situated on the site of the old Heaton Baths.
How I Support Patients
We have a large practice catchment area, with the majority of our registered patients living in Heaton and High Heaton. I have an interest in minor surgery and in training doctors to become GPs , and being part of a highly committed practice team that provides top quality care, and continually looks to develop services.
